By using Sticker Anything, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our Service.

  • AI-generated stickers you create

  • Subscription and purchase details (processed securely through our payment provider)
  • Transaction history and token usage

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Device Information:

  • Device type, model, and operating system
  • Unique device identifiers (IDFA on iOS, Android Advertising ID on Android)
  • IP address
  • Screen dimensions, timezone, and locale
  • App version and build number

Usage Information:

  • How you interact with the Service
  • Stickers you view, create, like, bookmark, or download
  • Search queries within the app
  • Time and duration of your sessions
  • Features you use and preferences you set

Location Information:

  • General location based on IP address (not precise GPS location)

Referral Attribution Data:

When you click a referral link on our website before installing the app, we collect device and network information to match your website visit to your app installation:

  • IP address and IP subnet (anonymized to /24 or /64 prefix)
  • Screen dimensions and device pixel ratio (rounded to nearest 10 pixels for privacy)
  • Platform type (iOS, Android, or desktop web browser)
  • Viewport size (rounded to nearest 10 pixels)
  • Browser user agent string
  • Primary language (first 2 letters only, e.g., "en")
  • Timezone offset from UTC
  • Referral code from the link you clicked
  • Click timestamp and unique click identifier

This data is collected anonymously before account creation and is used solely to attribute your signup to the correct referrer.

Analytics and Performance:

  • Crash reports and error logs
  • Performance metrics
  • Feature usage statistics

1.3 Information from Third Parties

Social Media Login:

  • Profile information from Google or Apple when you sign in
  • This may include your name, email, and profile picture

Payment Provider:

  • Transaction and subscription status from our payment processor

3. How We Share Your Information

3.1 Third-Party Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party companies to help us operate our Service:

AI Processing:

  • OpenAI (for generating stickers from your photos)

Infrastructure and Storage:

  • Supabase (database and file storage)
  • Cloud storage providers

Payments:

  • RevenueCat and app store payment processors

Analytics and Performance:

  • Analytics services to understand app usage
  • Crash reporting and error tracking services

Notifications:

  • Expo (for push notifications)

These providers have limited access to your information and are obligated to protect it and use it only for the purposes we specify.

3.2 Public Information

When you share stickers publicly or interact on the social features:

  • Your username, profile picture, and shared stickers are visible to other users
  • Your follower/following lists may be visible
  • Other users can see your likes and comments on public content

3.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government request, or if necessary to:

  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Protect our rights, property, or safety
  • Protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public
  • Prevent fraud or abuse

3.4 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. In such cases:

  • We will provide notice before your personal information is transferred
  • The acquiring company will be required to use your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy
  • If the acquiring company wants to use your information in ways materially different from this policy, you will be notified and given the opportunity to opt-out or delete your account

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Specific retention periods:

  • Account data: Until you delete your account (30-day grace period, then permanent deletion)
  • Stickers: Until you delete them (or your account)
  • Token transactions: Retained permanently for financial records
  • Usage analytics (detailed): 30 days
  • Aggregated analytics: Indefinitely (anonymized)
  • Terms agreement records: Retained permanently for legal compliance
  • Deletion records: Pseudonymized email hash retained indefinitely for audit/compliance purposes
  • Referral attribution data:
    • Full IP addresses: Automatically deleted after 7 days
    • Unmatched website clicks: Deleted after 30 days
    • Matched website clicks: Deleted after 90 days
    • Only anonymized IP subnets (not exact addresses) retained during the attribution window

5. Your Rights and Choices

5.1 Access and Update

You can access and update your account information at any time through the app settings.

5.2 Delete Your Account

You can request account deletion through Settings > Account > Delete Account.

Deletion Process:

  • Your account is immediately deactivated and scheduled for permanent deletion after 30 days
  • During the 30-day grace period, you can reactivate your account by signing in
  • After 30 days, all your data is permanently deleted

What Gets Deleted:

  • Your profile information, username, and photos
  • All stickers you created (both public and private)
  • Your collections, follows, likes, and bookmarks
  • Your social interactions and activity history
  • Your token balance and purchase history (except as required for financial records)
  • All files stored in our system (original photos, generated stickers, thumbnails)

What We Retain:

  • A pseudonymized record of the deletion (an encrypted hash of your email) for compliance and audit purposes - this hash cannot be used to identify you or recover your account
  • Financial records as required by law (see Section 4 for details)
  • Aggregated, anonymized analytics data

Important: Account deletion does NOT cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through your device settings to stop future billing.

5.3 Marketing Communications

You can opt out of promotional emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

5.4 Push Notifications

You can disable push notifications through your device settings or in-app settings.

5.5 Your Legal Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal information
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Object to or restrict processing of your information
  • Request data portability

6. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our servers and service providers are located. These countries may have different data protection laws than your country.

By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries. We take steps to ensure your information receives adequate protection.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Secure authentication systems
  • Regular security assessments
  • Access controls and monitoring

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Referral Attribution System

9.1 How It Works

When you click a referral link on our website and later install our mobile app, we use a matching system to connect your website visit to your app installation. This allows us to credit the correct user for referring you.

The Process:

  1. You click a referral link on our website
  2. We collect anonymous device and network signals (see Section 1.2)
  3. You install and open the mobile app
  4. We collect similar signals from your device
  5. Our system matches the signals using a scoring algorithm
  6. If there's a strong match, the referral code is automatically applied (or you're prompted to confirm)

Attribution Window: We only attempt to match clicks from the past 48 hours to prevent false matches.

9.2 Why We Collect IP Addresses

IP addresses are the strongest signal for matching website clicks to app installations because:

  • Users typically use the same WiFi/network when browsing and installing apps
  • They provide reliable attribution while balancing privacy (we use IP subnets, not exact addresses)
  • Full IP addresses are automatically deleted after 7 days

9.3 Privacy Protections

We've built several privacy protections into this system:

  • Data minimization: We only collect signals necessary for attribution
  • Rounding: Screen dimensions are rounded to remove exact precision
  • IP subnets: We use anonymized subnets (/24 or /64) rather than exact IPs for matching
  • Automatic deletion: Full IP addresses deleted after 7 days, clicks deleted after 30-90 days
  • Anonymous collection: All data collected before account creation is not linked to you
  • One-time matching: Attribution happens only once per app install
  • Optional participation: Referral codes are completely optional during signup

9.4 User Control

You have full control over referral attribution:

  • Referral codes are optional - you can skip them during signup
  • You can clear or remove referral codes at any time
  • Choosing not to use a referral code does not affect your ability to create an account

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites, apps, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by:

  • Posting the new policy in the app
  • Sending you a notification
  • Updating the "Last Updated" date

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the revised policy.
